Your treatment will be tailored to your individual skin and treatment goals, with the appropriate preparation, treatment intensity and aftercare discussed with you before proceeding.
Some professional skin treatments can involve temporary redness, sensitivity, peeling or downtime. We'll explain what you can expect from your treatment and provide personalised aftercare guidance to help support your skin through the recovery process.
If a treatment isn't suitable for your skin at the time of consultation, we'll let you know and may recommend preparing your skin first or considering an alternative approach.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a professional skin treatment that exfoliates the skin and supports skin renewal, helping improve the appearance of skin texture and tone.
At AW Aesthetics, Nurse Anita uses the Synergie Skin Professional Peel Suite, selecting the most appropriate formulation and strength according to your skin, concerns and treatment goals.
The range includes enzyme, lactic acid, salicylic acid, layered, Tetra Acid-50 and Modified Jessner peels, allowing treatments to be tailored to individual skin needs.
What to expect
Your chemical peel treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Depending on the peel selected, you may experience temporary warmth, tingling, redness, tightness or visible exfoliation.
Downtime varies between individuals and according to the peel selected. We recommend allowing approximately 3–7 days of skin healing time.
Your skin will be assessed before treatment and personalised aftercare instructions will be provided.
Skin Needling
Skin needling is a professional skin treatment that uses a device with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, supporting the skin’s natural renewal and collagen production.
It can be used to improve the appearance of skin texture, tone and acne scarring, and can be tailored to your individual skin concerns and treatment goals. Topical skin boosters or growth factors may also be applied where appropriate.

What to Expect
Your appointment takes approximately 30–90min depending on whether topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment to improve comfort.
A course of 3–6 treatments, approximately 6–8 weeks apart, may be recommended depending on your skin and treatment goals. Allow approximately 3–7 days of skin healing time when booking.
